Hairdressing Apprenticeship

Our highly popular hairdressing courses will give you the skills and confidence you need to work towards becoming a professional Hairdresser.

The Level 2 Diploma in Professional Hairdressing and Level 2 Diploma in Professional Barbering have been designed by employers for learners wishing to work either as a hairdresser or barber. Both Diplomas will lead to the achievement of the Hairdressing Professional Standard, alongside the relevant functional skills and the end-point assessment (EPA) module. Learners will complete these qualifications as an employed apprentice in a real work environment. Apprentices may have previously completed a Level 1 qualification in the relevant subject area.

E.L.M Academy is a dynamic and innovative vocational training organisation that specialises in high quality hairdressing and barbering training at multiple salons in Rawtenstall, Haslingden, Accrington, Rochdale, Bury & Blackburn.

The Academy offers high quality training in hairdressing and barbering. Each of our Salons are equipped with a state of the art training hairdressing and barbering equipment and we offer training that is designed to deliver a real work based experience. 

The course is a roll on roll off programme which means that we can start this at any point in the year. 

If you’re between the ages of 16 and 18 and enrolling on this course for the first time, you won’t need to pay any tuition fees. 

There may be some additional equipment costs.
