Our 14-16 School Links Programme is a part time provision that aims to bridge the gap between school learning and vocational training. We work closely with a number of local schools to offer students the chance to take part in a vocational hairdressing course that they would not otherwise be able to access.
We are working with schools to tailor and design a programme that best fits the needs of a school and the interests and aptitudes of students.
The aim of our 14-16 School Link Hairdressing Course is to help engage young people who do not perform to their full potential within the school environment. This course has as a really positive impact and can help to keep them engaged in education at college and at school. By studying these vocational courses students build valuable skills and knowledge of the different types of careers that may be available to them, which will motivate them to succeed on the course.
Our programmes offer VTCT Level 1 Diploma in Hairdressing which will prepare the student to progress to the next level of vocational learning. All the units within this qualification directly relate to the hairdressing industry. The qualification will introduce the student to the complete range of practical hairdressing skills and will act as the foundation for them to progress onto the next level of vocational learning at level 2.
We are specialist in our field and we are ran by highly qualified professionals. And of course, all our full-time E.L.M Academy staff are fully insured and DBS checked, with Child Protection and Emergency Aid certification.
